Light Data for Combined Events
I've seen there are EVT_LDG_LIGHTS_TOGGLE and EVT_TURNOFF_LIGHTS_TOGGLE which can be used to turn the landing lights and turnoff lights on and off as combined units in the PMDG. I haven't however found a combined light source for the Light Data. Are there any or should I just link one of the single light courses which makes up one of the combined events?
I really like these consolidated switch events as it saves on physical switches in the sim.
Thanks in advance for the clarification and help.

Hi Chris,
Those particular events are provided by PMDG so I would just link to a single light. The ones I have created start with EVT_CLUSTER....... and come with combined data.
Best wishes

Wilco Steve.
Do you have a suggestion what I could link my Engine Start switches with as a Light Data Source. I'm at a loss as to what makes sense and what might be workable. I know in the PMDG they don't have a light source themselves but I thought it might be "useful" to have them GF module light up when I flick the switch. I have the MESM as well so was wondering if I should link it with the selector?
Hi Chris,
These will give you the switch state (values of 0,1,2,3) if that helps:

Hi Steve,
Yes, thats what I've found and using Light Action OFF and a Light Value of 1 whenever the MESM switch sets to 0 the light goes off, otherwise the light is on. Cool. Thats a "useful" function for me.
Cheers
