Unable to use GF MCPPro and EFIS with Opencockpits Cards.

After getting my overhead all working both with switches and annunciators , and all working using OPencockpits and OCUSBMAPPER. So I was not happy when I connected my Goflight MCPPRO fired up the pollypot software only to find all my once working switches were all going haywire, clicking all over the place randomly????? How should I set it all up so as not to conflict with Opencockpits and the LUA scripts written for use with OCUSBMAPPER. I really do hope they can both exist together, otherwise Ill have to sell and buy the Opencockpits MCP... :(

Any help would be most appredciated…….

  • Has anyone managed to get MCPPRO , Opencockpits and Zibo to work happily together???
  • When you say "clicking all over the place" what do you mean? Are the buttons lighting up? Is the VC updating in sync with the clicking?

    Thanks
    Steve
  • What I mean is as soon as I start the Polypot software it takes over randomly operating switches on my opencockpits Master Card, which obviously messes up my overhead. Should polypot software be able to exist with ocusbmapper plugin which communicates with my opencockpits cards.

Also could it be because theh polypot software is somehow changing the datarefs I am using for the overhead switches...

    Very confused...
  • GIT knows nothing about anything to do with OpenCockpits. It does go through a synchronisation phase so that the virtual cockpit matches any GoFLight hardware switch state so if you have anything configured in GIT to control the overhead it will change the datarefs to reflect the GoFlight switch state - perhaps this is what you are seeing!?

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Thankyou for the reply. I can now confirm its all working fine now. The only thing I changed was the Directory name of the zibo738 and also moved the MCP and EFIS to a powered hub. All working happily together. Very pleased.
