Hi Steve,
Over all I'm very pleased with GIT and it's enhanced my flights. Much better using hardware than using the mouse!
There is one issue that I can't resolve. When switching to v/s mode if I move the dial quickly the numbers jump all over the place. -1800 can change to -3000 with only a small movement. I did suspect it might be a dirty contact but after discussing it on AvSim that seems unlikely as others also experience the same issue.
A few years ago I used Project Magenta Boeing Suite. That was very expensive but I don't remember having this problem. Might it be related to GIT and if so is there any way it can be resolved?

I have had no one report this issue to me before. Can you try this GoFlight test software for the MCP PRO to check the VS is working correctly and come back to me: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n1hw4huebtuwgqz/MCPProChkA25.zip?dl=0
Best wishes

I posted my problem on AvSim and others with GIT have also said they have the problem with V/S wheel. Using your software (thanks!) each of the knobs moves smoothly left to right and also in reverse when they're spun. The same is not the case with the V/S wheel which does jump around quite significantly. There doesn't appear to be an option to store a log. Here's the discussion on AvSim. Two others as well as me have the issue. I suppose I'm just the type to stick my head above the parapet! https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/550738-goflight-mcp-pro-vs-wheel-issue/

I'm not seeing this behaviour on the VS dial. My MCP PRO rotates smoothly. Are you sure the GoFlight test tool didn't show any problems as it sounds like a dodgy rotary encoder. I saw similar behaviour on my last MCP PRO on the CRS rotaries and that was faulty rotary encoders.
Best wishes

I couldn’t do it myself but Chris of Fulcrumsim.com visited Heald Green yesterday where the NWFSB has its monthly meeting and did the repair for me. Thanks for helping with the link to John at GoFlight.

Glad you got it sorted out.
