MCP Pro and Efis Not working anymore with Xplane11

Hi All
Well after many months of trouble free usage all seems to have ground to a halt.

When I am using either Latest Zibo, FF 757 OR 767, Saab A340 The MCP lights up showing the correct numbers on the sim but I cant change anything from The MCP Or Efis
I can spin the dials within in the simulator and the displays change but this is now quite useless
I can see on the status page that there are more red Crosses than usual so something is not right
Also when I come to use the import wizard I cannot select the EFIS
Just to say I am a very happy customer and Steve has always been great a fixing any issues
All was well but now for some unknown reason its all messed up
I have searched the forums looking for clues but not found any to assist me
I have atatched the log file of GO Flight and an image of my status page

Hope you can help

    That's very odd. Can you check in the MCP PRO tab for any of the rotaries that there are Commands present because the Datarefs are clearly present as they are lighting up the displays.

    I am currently flying the FF767 I have some use of the EFIS but cannot change anything using the MCP

    OK it looks like VNAV is a Bespoke Event. Can you go into Detective, select VNAV in the bottom right drop down and do a screen dump.

    Hi Paul,

    Sorry to ask a off topic question but you use a GF46 in your config. I have this panel too but have a lot of problems with it. The panel is freezing after a couple of seconds /minute.

    I fly normally xplane 11 zibo 737.

    Can i ask what your setup is? So windows version, usb connectivity etc.

    Hi Paul,
    you are not alone.

    I have (had) the same problem sometimes. The MCP Pro is "frozen" (EFIS works) and did not respond if you dial ALT HDG and so on. And this only with the latest version of Zibo B737.

    Now I found out, that I have to plug out the USB cable and plug it in again. After a restart of GIT the MCP Pro works. Most time, this problem occurs, if I let the Goflight modules plugged in at the PC and the power unit of the USB hubs plugged in the socket when turning my PC off. If I unplug power and USB (or leave it unplugged) before starting the PC and later plug in power and then USB, I don't have this problem. Crazy but true.

    Also it es better to start X-Plane first, set up the flight (especially if you use WT3), and at last GIT. During the WT3 process of generating the ground routes X-Plane "hangs" and this causes this problem for me. But this only the last few weeks and with the newer versions of the Zibo.

    Hi Martin,

    That's sounds like a hardware issue if you are having to unplug it. Is your firmware A22 or A25 on the MCP PRO? (it flashes up on the MCP PRO display when your PC starts).

    my MCP-Pro is A25. Just now I read your info about this behaviour. But why I only have this problem the last months and most time with the Zibo Boeing. With other planes I never had this problem.

    At the moment I have the standard settings:
    Write Delay: 10
    Cmd Delay: 70

    I'll test with write delay 30 and cmd 70.

    With A25 firmware you can set both to 0. Check your have power management disabled on the hub and the USB ports the MCP PRO is plugged into and make sure its USB2 and not USB3.

    Ok, power management is disabled under USB-Controller. The ports at the PC are USB 2.0. I'll test with setting 0. Maybe the default values could be the reason?

    Until a few weeks I had no problems and I started GIT first and then X-Plane. But if I create the route with World Traffic 3 X-Plane hangs a few seconds and then those problems occured. If I load GIT last, it works most time. Maybe also the old USB Hubs are the reason. I'll investigate this problem.
