Size Detective Window to reach Toggle buttons

I am a brand new user.
What ever I do I cannot resize the detective window to reach the toggle buttons? I can not get to the bottom right corner of the window to drag into my screen, is there a config setting somewhere? that can resize the complete detective window. Have searched for previous posts on this and can only find one, it says you can make the window smaller by resizing then left click to drag up, but I cant get these instructions to work either? as I can't move the bottom of the window box up. My screen is 1360 x 768, Windows 8.1.
Any help please.

    Just click and drag one of the top corners to make the window smaller, then click and drag the title bar up the screen to bring the window into full view.

    Steve - Nope sorry this doesn't work I get the Diagonal arrow and the parallel side and top arrows, but it will not resize to a box small enough to drag up the page far enough to get to the bottom buttons. Its as if there is a minimum window size setting somewhere. When I drag up the screen into auto docks and then you cant see the bottom of the docked window. Is this a windows setting somewhere I do not have this with other software.
    The windowed box will not get any smaller than the attached screen dump.
    Any other suggestions?

    There is a minimum height of 812 pixels on that window. What is your screen resolution?

    Steve -sorry got carried away with bashing the keys last night. As per my first post on the subject. "My screen is 1360 x 768, Windows 8.1."
    So this would appear to be the issue, how do I get around this? Looks like I have to change the screen res?

    The screen is only just too short. I'll look at finding 50 or so pixels on that window to get it to fit for you at the weekend.

    Steve - I run mainly FSX and about to upgrade to P3D but FSX is what I want to use detective for, searching for some Lvars on the JF PA28.
