PMDG/TQ6 Advanced

I have installed the latest builds of the GF software and the PMDG interface software.  I have to enable the Device 0 and 737 Throttles each time the pmdg software loads.  I also receive the message "reg AppPath entry not found..PMDG options file cannot be updated..."  I have neither fsx nor Prepar3D checked in the settings (I have tried all combinations--same results).  I would appreciate any assistance--Thanks,

    Hi Robert,

Do you have the PMDG NGX or 777 installed?

OK. It looks like the registry entries for FSX are missing. Flight1 have a registry repair tool here:

I have just debugged the code for a Prepar3d install only and everything looks good in relation to warnings. I think the issue is security rights and being unable to write to files. Try running the program with administrator priviledges.

Thanks Steve--Disabled all AV and have full administrative rights--same problem--'No AppPath...cannot update options file.'  The 'device0' enabled has to be regenerated each session--Thanks again for you help--

Can you check this file exists <your drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\737NGX_Options.ini and if it does, post the contents on here.

    Thx

Steve--The .ini file (and Prepar3D) are all located on the e:\ drive; the PMDG interface is located in the  c:\Program Files (x86) directory.  There is no Lockheed Martin directory in c:\Program Files (x86)--Hope this helps--Thanks,

The registry entries for Prepar3D are missing which means Prepar3d didn't install properly or the registry has been corrupted. You should be able to turn off the two tick boxes in settings, then quit GIT and reload it. The error message should stop showing up.

As regards your settings, go into the FAQ off the Support pull down menu on the website and use it to locate your settings file. Zip it up and attach it to this discussion for me to look at.

    Thx

    Hi Robert,

Your config files are fine and show the TQ6 enabled. Are you certain its disabled as the TQ6 tab will show disabled until you pick the device in the combo box. Even better does the TQ6 work regardless of what you think its status is?

    Thx

If you are using it to control the axes of the TQ6 you need to enable Joysticks in the settings tab. This is currently showing disabled in your config file.

    Best wishes
