MCP Pro using GFIT works with FSX Default aircraft but Fails with all PMDG

I desperatly Need Help Please:
MCP Pro works fine with Fsx Default Aircraft but I only get Dashes when running any of the PMDG Aircraft.

I have installed and reinstalled GF Config and GIT in (X86) directory as well as in their own separate directories (DID NOT WORK)

Installed and Reinstalled all of the PMDG Aircraft (DID NOT WORK)
Reset the PC and re installed Windows 10 to no effect.

Current Installations:
Flight Simulator X is in C:\Fsx

GOFLIGHT Config and GFIT is installed in C:`Program Files\ (X86) Directory
GF Config = Version 2.2
GFIT Config= Version 3.6.5.1

Uninstalled all PMDG Aircraft
PMDG 737NGX
PMDG 777 200 LR/F
PMDG 777 300 ER
PMDG 747-400 QES II
PMDG 747-8 QES II

Reinstalled only PMDG 737NGX to test if Goflight Works. It Does Not

Have Checked the Options.ini Data Broadcast is set to 1
Net framework is updated v3.5 and 4.8 for windows 10
Dll.xml Points to the right Path

GoFlight Interface Module
False
C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight\GoFlight Interface Module 32.dll

GF Config is set to Compatible Add-on and is directed to C:`Fsx
GFIT Recognises the loading of the Pmdg Aircraft and the Log shows everything connected and working ok.

I really don’t know what else to try. If the GFIT recognised the default aircraft it should somehow also recognise the PMDG aircraft.

PLEASE HELP.

  • Do any of the buttons work with the NGX, even though the displays don't?
  • No...just Dashes
  • Not the button lights, I mean does the FD switch work for example on the MCP PRO and it changes in the VC?
  • None of the buttons...switches or dials work. They do with default aircraft but not with any of the PMDG
  • What flight sim are you using and what version of the NGX do you have?
  • I am using FSX and the following is all the versions fully updated although I uninstalled them to find a solution to the Goflight problem leaving only the PMDG 737 NGX
    PMDG 737NGX
    PMDG 777 200 LR/F
    PMDG 777 300 ER
    PMDG 747-400 QES II
    PMDG 747-8 QES II

Go into the PMDG operations centre, pick the FSX NGX product and then click version. Tell me what version you have installed. Thx
  • Thank you..As mentioned I have uninstalled all the versions except 737 NGX.
Checked the operation Centre...The Version is 1.20.8885 and it states it is up to date
    Thank you
  • OK, with the NGX at the VC. Goto the MCP PRO tab in GIT, select Device 0 from the drop down and check that it is ENABLED. If it isn't, enable it (not AV_ENABLED, just ENABLED), quit GIT and then reload GIT.
  • I enabled it as instructed. Quit the GIT and restarted. It went back to its BLANK default.
  • Oh sorry...Did not enable it ...Please bear with me
  • Thank you so very much. It is working now.
I am SO SO Grateful. I have been trying for a week deleting and installing everything.
    THANK YOU THANK YOU
  • Having followed your instructions the dials and buttons on the MCP are recognised by PMDG but as soon as I set any of the dials or click on the buttons on the MCP , the aircraft starts to shake violently and accelarates without any control.
  • Plus the MCP freezes mid flight.
Wondering if I can use an older version of GIT as it worked fine on my old Win8 pc
  • If the MCP is freezing you either have the A22 firmware version of the MCP PRO or its something to do with Windows power management which you need to disable on all USB hubs, ports and GoFlight gear.

I cannot think of anything that would make the aircraft behave like that.

    Best wishes

  • Thank you so much. Having loaded all the remaining PMDG aircraft it seems somehow the problem is solved. You mentioned on June 17th that I should Select Device 0 and from the drop Down Menu Select Enabled. This certainly made the system work. Do I have to also set any of the numbers in the drop down box. Currently it is at 8 and finally do I have to save the configuration for each aircraft type?
Thank you so much. You have been most helpful.
  • You do need to set things for each aircraft. You can leave the other settings as as default.

    Best wishes
    Steve
