Is "identify-device-at-startup" possible?
Maybe it's somewhere in the documentation/tutorials/forum threads, but for the past four days I've been looking for an answer and I could not find it, so if it's there, I apologize in advance.
I'm setting up an X-Plane based custom-made cockpit to mirror my real-world airplane (N31062) and the GoFlight Interface Tool (GIF) is key to my approach. However, it appears that you have to manually select each device every time you start GIF, even if you only have ONE of each type (e.g. "Device 0"). I will have a dedicated computer(s) for the cockpit, and I would like for the sim software complex to auto-startup upon boot of the dedicated computer.
Unfortunately, if you have to manually identify each GIF device each time you start the sim, simple autostart is impossible.
Is there any way to either preset or "hard-wire" the device number in GIF? Thanks.

You only have to pick a device to configure it. Once its configured you can ignore picking the device as the config is loaded when an aircraft loads and the device will work automatically.
Best wishes
