Where do we download/purchase/use voucher for the MSFS 2020 GIT? There is no link available on the main website that I can find.
thanks,
Rich Boll
Please disregard. I found the download on my download account page.
thanks!
Rich
Please use this thread to feedback any issues you have using GIT with FS2020 over the next week or so, so I can resolve anything that I've missed.
Thanks
Steve
I have tried several aircraft, from single engine prop, to twin turbo and jet and the B747.
To all, I think obviously, it says the aircraft is generic.
I enabled all the modules in GFIT and it recognized all of them. It identifies them. But the modules remain dark and non-responsive.
Many regards

Thanks!
Updated to the new version.
"It's alive!!"
The MCP works great. But it is one of only two modules that had the FSDefault button and reacting directly. I guess I will have to program the others myself.
The LGT II, is the second one that also works, but interestingly enough, it is not recognized by MSFS 2020 as a controller (as a matter of fact, it was not recognized by P3D either -or Windows- and one or two switches that I wanted to re-assign, for example, the flaps toggle re-assigned to parking brake, was done via FSUIPC).
Now that LGT II has been assigned as FSDefault, its toggle moves the flaps up or down. But I have also assigned flaps, to a lever of my GF TQ6. Will there be a conflict? I am not sure how to disable the flaps in LGT II or reassign that toggle.
I installed MSFS 2020 in its own folder, not the GoFlight folder where it was before. So the previous version of GFIT (P3Dv5 -64) does not come up any more.
Having set the MCP, for example to FSDefault will that affect the operation of the modules in P3Dv5 (that will stay with me for quite a while yet?) I haven't checked yet.
Have I messed things up a bit?
Notwithstanding these worries, the future looks bright!
Take good care
Roberto
Could you be so kind as being more precise:
Should Goflight config be set to FS default or compatible addon?
Which aircraft from MSFS2020 should be selected (I tried with TBM without any success)
How to modify GIT settings when MSFS2020 is active since the view occupies the whole screen and does not allow to go back to the destock?
Thanks for your reply.
While we wait for Steve to respond to the technical questions, in MSFS2020, in "General" options there is a setting that allows you to choose windowed rather than full screen display and that will allow you to minimize it while in use.
Unfortunately I am not home to tell you exactly where you find that option. If you don't find it let me know and I will advise later today
This guide should get you up and running. Make sure you follow all the steps in the installation link.

Jolly good, you had me worried there for a minute
Having flaps assigned to multiple devices is fine.
The GF166's have COM, NAV and ADF buttons that auto configure. The GF46 should auto assign some stuff. The EFIS has FS Default and the SECM.

This is what I tried:
1- Goflight interface tool set to compatible addon
2- Execute GIT FS2020
3- Set MCPPRO device 0 enabled
4- Load MSFS2020, select Boeing 747
5- Result: Course, Heading, Altitude, Vert Speed illuminate but set to 000
What is wrong?
I can now confirm that, unfortunately, none of my modules now work in P3Dv5 PMDG 737.
I have an MCPRO, EFIS, TQ6, LGT II, 2x RP48, 3 x T8-2, 45, which were working together very happily, until I started to make changes for MSFS2020 yesterday.
The MCPRO shows as "FSDefault" and does not recognize the airplane as a PMDG, but as "Generic".
Is the issue that I installed v4.1.0.0 on its own folder and not in the GoFlight folder as the previous versions cause all this?
I am not sure how to regenerate the settings for PMDG (the ones that took so long to program! )
Many regards,
Roberto
Alainzu - Have you clicked FS Default on the MCP tab, then quit GIT and reload, turn the rotaries and it will work.

I have both sims on one computer.
I will keep P3Dv5 for a while. I am a Beta Tester in a product that requires that simulator.
Yesterday I likely made the bad mistake of installing the latest version of GIT into a separate folder and not the one where I always had installed it before.
Should I uninstall the latest version (4.1.0.0) and re-install it in the "old" folder (associated with GoFlight?)
I guess with time zones, we will soon leave this chat until Monday. If that is the case, have a wonderful weekend!!
Thanks!
Roberto
GIT 4.1 is a 64bit app, so gets installed into Program Files\GoFlight Interface Tool along with GIT for P3D v4 64Bit. It can't be installed into the GoFlight directory. Just make sure you run the correct GIT for the sim you are using. Directories shouldn't matter.

I think I understand.
4.1 is only for MSFS2020?
I might have uninstalled the P3D version. I'l reinstall it and report back.
My set up is as such
1- Goflight interface tool set to FS default
2- Execute GIT FS2020
3- Set MCPPRO device 0 enabled/or disabled
3b- Quit GIT and return
4- Load MSFS2020, select Boeing 747
5- Result: Course, Heading, Altitude, Vert Speed illuminate but set to 000
If it doesn't work, then something is wrong with your install, so send me the log files to take a look. Stick with the Daher whilst we troubleshoot as I know that works.
