  • I have tried Daher, 747, 787 same 0000
With Daher 000 and no change turning dials
Where is the log file of GIT?
  • Steve:

On my end, I am (very) happy to report that I finally understood everything.
Modules work great in P3D and, slowly, getting to know the GIT in MSFS202.

    Have a great weekend!
    Many regards

  • Hello
I have accidentally pressed button default-FS right to Button V-Nav + device 0 enabled
and it works with Daher, 747 and 787 !!!
and good news also with Airbus ????
I do not understand why but I will remember the way.
The good way after loading an aircraft = reload GIT, set device 0 enabled
Is there a way to record the right parameters in the settings?
You should write a short memo for FS2020 indicating the few steps to get it
    Best regards
  • Absolutely fantastic STEVE !! Thank you for your continued work on all platforms. It is much appreciated !

So, is this software stand alon or does it work within the Goflight software. THe goflight software is useless as it stands as I can't detect Flighsim2020 as a supported Sim. If i install this product, will it help me get around that so I can configure my modules in FS2020?

    I have the GF166a vrp, GF-MCP, GF-p8 and GF-t8.
  • Well i bought it, but have no idea how to get it working. I read the user guide that came with it and it's mostly not applicable as I don't have the manufacturer's goflight working with a previous sim. I only have fs2020 installed. THe go flight manfacturer software sees my devices, but when I right click the pictures, i get nothing. No FS default or whatever. I installed the GIT from you folks and it detects my modules. Bir I don't see any "Auto configure" options, and there are no FS2020 config files available on this site to download. So I'm stuck with having to hand program this stuff. Is there a manual for Hand programming the MCP, GF166 and P/T8 modules?
  • New version just uploaded that should fix the issue some of you have been seeing.

  • Somehow the GIT is causing stuttering in Xplane ? anybody else feel that ?

-> Do not install the older version and if installed remove it, its not needed if all you have installed is MSFS2020

Once you install this software you should start MSFS2020 and then get the aircraft at a starting point.

Now you should be able to start this software up, and on the status page you should have 3 green buttons

    Have you got this far?
  • BrannonSweet,

Please read the Beginners Guide mentioned in this thread. There are no profiles for FS2020 yet. For your MCP PRO, all you need to do is start up the sim and get the VC showing. Load GIT, select the MCP PRO tab and select Device 0 from the drop down. Click the FS Default button and then Enable the MCP PRO via the drop down (ENABLED). Quit GIT and restart and your MCP PRO will work.

    Best wishes

  • There is an issue in MSFS2020 regarding the setting of values in an MCP.

For example, coarse settings (10's in heading/course and 1000's in altitude) are set using the mouse scroll wheel.
Fine settings (single values) are set using the left and right mouse buttons (my right button is not being recognized (??), but that is another story).

The GoFlight MCP is not consistent when changing the rotary values (course, speed, heading, altitude, V/S) and as you turn a rotary, the values increase finely or coarsely in an unpredictable manner.

Tried it in the Carenado C182 and the default B747 with the same results.

    Regards,
    Roberto

  • That FS bug has been around for years and they haven't fixed it in 2020! Wow! I know I used to enable Fix Control Acceleration in FSUIPC to stop it happening in FSX, maybe Pete's 2020 public beta FSUIPC still has the option.

I'll try and find a work around in GIT in the meantime.

    Best wishes
