Using a GF-MCP PRO when you have a HoneyComb Yoke
I briefly had a HoneyComb Yoke some months ago but returned it because if I Used it My GF-MCP PRO would not work. With my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke all is fine (this was on Prepar3d) I have a HoneyComb Throttle on order for FS2020 and wonder if anyone else has had issues with HoneyComb hardware along side GoFLight hardware?
Comments
I have recently also purchased a Honeycomb yoke, to replace the Saitek/Logitech Pro Flight Yoke I had had for a very long time.
I had difficulties “calming” down the sensitivity of the latter in both elevator and aileron axes, and properly addressing the very wide aileron axis null zone, which made manually flying GA (non A/P) aircraft difficult with the Saitek in both P3D and FS2020.
I am very happy with the Honeycomb yoke. I have no issues in either P3D or MSFS2020.
All modules run by GIT, including the MCP-Pro, work as they always did in P3D and, MSFS2020 and I are still getting slowly acquainted with each other.
I am puzzled about what could be the connection between the MCP-Pro and the yoke?
As I am sure you know, the switches on the yoke, are automatically assigned to the equivalent switches in some default airplanes (ie the Cessnas, etc) of FS2020.
Is it possible that you inadvertently have something assigned to the MCP-Pro (or the yoke) that is creating a conflict?
Regards!
