Updated GoFlight P3Dv4.5 64bit and will not work now?

I was on the forum last week, I updated to the 64bit P3Dv4.5 version and cannot get my GoFlight to work. When I look at the log file it says:
SimConnect: ExceptionReceived: DUPLICATE_ID

    Sorry I should say when I try to start the program the box opens and I maybe get one green light on for a few seconds in the SimConnect box but the others remain red. Also there is something flashing in the background but I cannot see what it is. I have to force closure of the box as it will not close by seleting the x

    Not seen that before. Try uninstalling and reinstalling GIT and reboot. If that doesn't resolve, rename Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool so GIT starts with no config files because it may be due to a corrupt xml file. You could also try the non 64bit version of GIT, it will make no difference to your usage of GIT, but uses different simconnect dll's.

    You have double checked you are running the correct version of GIT for the flight sim in use?

    Hi Steve, deleted everything and reinstalled new P3Dv4 64 bit with antivirus off, it says cannot find path to V5 DLL. When I start GoFlight before starting sim I get a green light under the GoFlight heading. When I boot my sim and then start GoFlight I get this, see picture, I also have a box flashing for a milisecond every few seconds in the background. Only happens when I try to start GoFlight after sim booted. Does this help to try and resolve please? Many thanks

    That's where basic UI settings get saved.

    I have just tested with P3D and GIT 3.8.1.0 with a clean config and found no problems at all. Did anything else change on your system when you updated GIT? You are installing the 64bit version into Program Files and not Program Files (x86)? Do the errors remain if you install the prior version back?

    Hi Steve, yes up to date 64 bit version in Program Files not 86. Nothing else has changed other than a new 2TB hard drive installed a couple of weeks ago but everything was working fine until I installed the update and then issues. I have also tried older version in April I think and same issues. Regards Laurie

    hI sTEVE, DID THE lOCKHEED mARTIN UPDATE TODAY AND BINGO gOfLIGHT IS WORKING AS NORMAL. nOT SURE WHY AS NOT CHANGED ANYTHING SINCE INSTALLING THE UPDATE. tHANK YOU FOR COMING BACK TO ME AND FINGERS CROSSED ALL GOES WELL FLYING. tHANKS lAURIE
