Since Version 4.3.0.0 (GIT FS2020) error message at closing GIT

Hi,
deinstalled the first version of GIT an now after installing 4.3.0.0 I get a message "object reference not set to an instance of an object" if I'm closing GIT. Also the GoFlight Modules MCP-Pro and LGT-II the digits and Gear LEDs don't extinguish. With the first version there was no problem.

Regards,
Martin

  • I'll look into Martin.

    Best wishes

  • Thank you Steve. I only had setup my MCP-Pro, Efis, SECM and LGTII. I start MSFS first, load the flight and then start GIT. Everything is working ok. Only if I quit GIT, this error message appears.
Should I delete some files in my Documents folder?.

    Best regards,
    Martin

  • Looks fine. Let me know what the error is.

    Thx

  • I started MSFS and loaded the flight. Now I start GIT and all is working great. But if I close GIT, I get this message "object reference not set to an instance of an object", then I click "ok" and GIT closes. But the digits of the MCP-Pro and LEDs at the LGTII are illuminated and don't extinguish.
  • I now get the same message Martin1210 is getting, I'm not sure if it is after GIT new version or MSFS Patch #2, as both unfortunately happened almost simultaneously in my set up.

I do not seem to get the issue with lights in the MCP-Pro or other modules.

    Regards,
    Roberto
  • And after I deleted all settings (in documents), which I created with the first version of GIT, the new settings I created will not be saved.

    Regards,
    Martin
  • Steve, just in case it can help you troubleshooting the issue (wild guess here) ...
I have the same error message when closing GIT and I noticed that the FlightSimIOLua.exe process is still running (was killed previously when closing GIT I believe).

If it is not related, well no harm done ;-)
  • That may be it, thanks!
