  • Have you enabled the device in GIT?

  • What does value mean in the GIT? Can you explain that to me?
    Thank you
  • Now I understand the question. I translate everything into German first.
    Yes, I have activated GIT.
For example, if I want to activate a switch for beacon lights for on and off, it doesn't work. The control light is also not on. It would be normal to switch to the front "beacon on" with light. Switch back "beacon off" light off.
it would be possible to send me the settings as an example.

  • I think this will work. (It does for me)
  • Hello
Thank you very much for the XML file. It works for me too. Only the alternator lamp is always on. But I can live with that.
I also have problems with the GF-166. Could you also send me the XML file for this device? It would be a great relief for me.

  • For each device, on the relevant tab, you need to select the Device number from the drop down list (e.g. Device 0), and then select ENABLED, from the drop down list next to the devices list.

For the GF-166, just click the NAV, COM or ADF buttons on the GF-166 tab and then enable the device as per above.

Hi Peter, glad i could help.
The GF-166 works right out of the box. i.e. with the file provided by steve.

    Best regards from the Netherlands

  • Hello Erwin, I've tried many times as you described it, but it doesn't work. It should be like this that I can switch between NAV1 and NAV2 with the left button and between e.g. Change COM1 and COM2. The center button is used to switch from standby to active. I will send you the XML file and 3 screens on which you can see everything. I hope you can help me again.

Do the GF166 rotaries work in the flight sim? E.g. they will change the NAV radios in the sim.

I can enter the NAV frequency and then switch it from standby to active with the center button. The main problem is that when I configure I first do NAV and that's ok. once I do the same with the right display with COM nothing works anymore. It is to despair. Thanks for your help Greetings Peter

Hi Peter, I have two gf166 so I don’t have that problem.
I will try to replicate your settings in the coming weekend.

    Best regards,
    Erwin
  • Hello Erwin
Could you possibly send me printscreen from your settings or the XLM file. It is despairing. I can't get any further.

    Thank you Peter
