How to Reverse a T8 Switch Setting?

Hello to all:

While Steve takes a well deserved holiday and rest, I'll try the forum in general.

After decades with GFIT, I finally programmed my first Bespoke setting today!

I managed to program two "simple on-off" switches (Taxi Light and Beacon Light) in my X-Plane FlyJSim B727, with GFIT for X-Plane!

I have one issue that I am not sure how to resolve. The "OFF/ON" positions of the switches I have programmed (those Taxi and Beacon lights) are reversed on the GF module, when compared to the ones that are seen in the sim.

In the sim (as in real life), the "OFF" position of the switch is up. But in the module as I programmed it, "OFF" shows as down.

The "ON" position in the sim is down, but in the module that I have programmed, the switch position for "ON" is up.

No matter what I do to try to flip the switches in the sim, they always work in opposite positions in the T8 modules.

Is there a way to "reverse" the action of the switches in the programming of the GFIT (similar to reversing an axis of a yoke or throttle in the sim)?

Thanks for any suggestions!
Roberto

  • Found the solution.

I had to stop thinking about "OFF as UP, and ON as DOWN" and start thinking as "OFF as 1 and ON as 0"

    All is well.
    Merry Christmas!
