P3D PMDG 777 MCP PRO, ALL DEVICES TABS ARE GREYED OUT
Hi,
The MCP Pro powers up, i have selected compatible add on (GF CONFIG)
Going into GIF, i have the 3 green lights, but no device tabs at all, import wizard does not work either, greyed out also.
I have tried spad, it detects it, but doesn't work much more.
I've had all dashes/lights on GIF, with SPAD i can change the numbers on the panel, not on the aircraft itself.

22:39:16 WinSock: Connection Failed: Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.Something is blocking communication (network TCP/IP) between GIT and the GIT Module that runs in the flight sim. Probably a firewall issue. You also need to be in the Virtual Cockpit before the tabs will enable.

You say TCP/IP for GIT, but Simconnect files all use IPv4, which is not avail on ESET virus firewall selections due IPv6 is out.
have tried IPv6 with tunnelling but still no comms to GIT tool, even tough all green lights.
have used port 500 as per standard practice, but the protocols seem to be mismatched between software literature available.
Is it IPv(x) between FS and Simconnect, then TCP/IP between Simconnect and GIT ?
Yes all other files are up to date eg .net 4.7.1 + (even though goflight.interface.tool.config file references legacy 4.6.2,and the file is openable in notepad, and can edit, but cannot save due to admin issue with creator (not a windows admin restriction)
Have edited dll.xml, exe.xml, simconnect.xml, simconnect.cfg to no avail, all green lights but no tabs enabled
Please clarify which protocols are required and what address are best for IPv4 (eg 127.0.0.1) and IPv6 (eg ::1)
Annoying thing is it was all working then next start up tabs blanked out and has never connected again, even after 2 weeks of forum searching here, and googling other sources, regedits, etc
also, simconnect ini file set up for logging, but cannot find any logs in directories anywhere.
is any additional software required to locate and read simconnect log files ?
GIT log tab shows no exceptions or errors, but something is obviously not set correctly
Help required have 500kg and $10000 worth of sim unable to be fully utilised due GIT dropping out
I have also just noticed in your log: 22:38:10 SimConnect: Exception Received: VERSION_MISMATCH, which indicates you are running the wrong version of GIT for the flight sim you are running - this could be the main cause of the problems.
