GIT FS2020 - MCPPRO tab disabled

For 2-3 days not GIT has not worked. It loads and registers 1 MCPPRO device but the tab is disabled.
The app will connect to the sim but will not recognize any aircraft (having loaded up FS2020 to the welcome screen first)
When connected SimConnect light is Green, Light below Aircraft Flashes Green but Mode stays as generic.
I have configured 3 of the standard aircraft in FS2020 using the detective and many user functions but cannot access any nor use the app to control the MCPPRO unit.
I have confirmed that the MCPPRO unit is working by enabling it in spad.next
I have uninstalled GIT and re-installed it.image

  • In addition to my main post i also just noticed that when i close the app (X) it 'freezes' - does not respond to any mouse clicks and remains on the screen until i force 'end task' from task manager
  • Does it become enabled if you get the cockpit visible in the aircraft? If not, post the GIT Log.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Steve

Thanks for your reply and yes it does now.
    It functions perfectly as before.

The only thing I can think of is installing Acronis TrueImage (2021) on the sim pc caused an issue with GIT.
This backup software also includes a 'Protection' module which you can turn off but i noticed many services which were still running and couldn't be stopped even by an admin !.
I uninstalled this after creating a backup and GIT worked fine.
