MSFS MCP-Pro Altitude Lights with Working Title Garmin 1000 NXI

With the last update of the Working Title G1000 NXI the altitude light doesn't work and show a value of "99000". In the documentation I found the following "for your Autopilot Panel, make sure that the Display value for Selected Altitude is using ‘AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR__1’ instead of ‘AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR’". https://www.workingtitle.aero/packages/nxi/issues

In GIT I found the value ‘AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR’ but don't found ‘AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR__1’. Is there a way I can add it or must I wait on a new version of GIT?

Regards,
Martin

  • There is no mention of this variable in the FS2020 SDK documentation. Is it a new FS2020 Simconnect variable or an Lvar?

  • I don't know. At the known issues at working title I read "If you use third party software to control your panel, you can specify to read from AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR_1 instead of from AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR". At the working title discord I saw that this variable should be "AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR:1" I you use SPAD.NeXt for example. I have no idea how this should be set in GIT.

  • If its AUTOPILOT_ALTITUDE_LOCK_VAR:1 it looks like FS2020 has added an index to the variable and not documented it, as FSX and P3D have never listed it as indexed.

I will test if that's the case tomorrow and if so, get a new version out tomorrow.
