Help finding events and lvars

I'm trying to program a button to cycle the CDI in the Garmin G1000NXi panel. I can't find the event(s) or variables. The author(s) website states they use only standard variables and events; however not revealed by detective.

    Simconnect variables do not appear in Detective, only Events. The "standard" G1000 events are present from FSX onwards. I think the author needs to clarify "standard"

    It's just popped into my head, that I seem to recall the G1000 only works with HTML Events which you can use via the SendClient Task in a Bespoke Event. You need to know them in advance, just google for them or if you own FSUIPC, the program directory has lists of them.
