Devices remain inactive

Since I had to reinstall GIT for the FS2020 store version, all devices remain dark. No matter how I try to configure. The USB connections are OK. They are recognized in devices and printers and also light up when the PC is started.

thanks for your help
Peter

  • Do the switches and rotaries work?

Can you post your GIT log.

    Best wishes

  • where can I find the log file?
  • Hello Steve
where can I find the log file?
  • Copy and paste the log from the GIT tab "Log".

Can you also confirm if the rotaries, buttons and switches work?

    Best wishes

  • Hello Steve
The GF-LGT works. The controllers do not work on the GF-MPC. Nothing works in the GF-166 either. GF-T8 is inactive. The LEDs are off on all 3 displays.

    Thank you for your efforts

  • The log looks fine. Can you check the MPC has events and variables configured on it for the aircraft concerned.

    Thx
    Steve
  • Hello Steve I can't tell you that because the LEDs are not on.
  • You can, go to the GIT MCP tab, select Device 0 and then check that the rotaries and displays have events and variables assigned respectively.

    Best wishes

  • Hello Steve
In the attachment I will send you the settings.
  • There is nothing obviously wrong. It might be worth deleting pollypot stuff in your community folder and downloading the module separately from your account and copying into the community folder manually.

Also, does this problem impact all aircraft or just the one in the log?

  • Hello Steve
I am desperate. I deleted all entries that had to do with GoFlight and Pollypot, restarted the system. Software installed. Now I get a field message when installing. Although I turned off the translation.

    frustrated greetings

  • I have reset your install count.

Again, does this problem impact all aircraft or just the one in the log?

  • Hello Steve
It seems to affect all aircraft. I also tested the Cessna C152, Pilatus Porter and JU52. All displays remain dark.

    Greetings Peter
  • Make sure all your USB power management is off for Goflight connected hubs and ports.

Try running Windows8Fixer from the Goflight drivers. How to use it is detailed in the Goflight readme file.

  • Hello Steve
The Windows8fixer tool is no longer available for Win10. What should I do. Can you recommend an equivalent tool to me?

    Greetings Peter
  • Hello Steve
Could it be that the latest Win10 update, see attachment, is to blame for my big problems?

    With kind regards
    Peter
  • It's part of the GoFlight drivers. You will find it in your GoFlight directory. Open up a command prompt as administrator, go to your goflight directory e.g. "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight" and run GFWindows8Fixer.cmd. If it worked, you should have a GfWindows8Fixer.log file with a recent date and time stamp.
