  • See the FAQ entry titled "My MCP PRO or MCP Advanced is not updating its display (just showing zeroes or dashes)" here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/70-faq-goflight-interface-tool.html

  • The issue concerning the LED display on the MCP Pro was solved by installing the latest software.
  • Steve, just a comment regarding fixing this problem. The link contains this text… “ Note that ALL connections in between the GoFlight hardware and the PC must be USB 2 or USB1.”

    I’m sure I’ve seen both you and Rob Ainscough both confirm GoFlight hardware will operate just fine with USB3. I’ve ordered a new PC that only has USB3 ports. I would need a PCI card to connect to a USB2 header if the link is correct.

    @salma12 , did you connect to a USB2 or USB3 port?

  • GoFlight only officially supported USB 1 and its what they always recommended if asked, however they supplied USB2 hubs when they supplied my airliner setup?! Some people have had no end of problems with USB 3, whilst others have had no problems at all. I'm guessing its down to firmware settings and the USB manufacturer.

  • I’ve asked Chillblast to add a USB2 connector which attaches to a backplate and then to a USB2 header on the mobo. Better safe than sorry.

    I’m sure the P8 and T8 modules would be fine. It’s the 737MCP and GF166 units I’m concerned about.
