GIT for FS 2020 wont start

Today when I click on the Git FS 2020 Icon I get a message that it wont start and a long message headed "Application Halted"
The invocation of the constructor on type 'A.AH' that matches the specific binding constraints threw an exception
It then lists 9 different "reasons
It then says
Inner Exception
Configuration System failed to initiate
listing about 19 reasons.

Unfortunately I cant copy the file but I have got it as an image file from a screen shot

All worked OK yesterday after installing the AIG Manager and Traffic Controller

  • It's most likely a corrupt settings file. Delete the directory C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\PollyPot_Software.

This won't delete any aircraft configs you have.

  • I deleted that and still had problems so I re installed. I get the following message
  • Looks like your config files are corrupt. You will need to restore from a backup (Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool). If you don't have a backup, there is a short term backup copy in that directory in a directory called Backup - the files will need to be renamed to match what was originally there. Failing all that, delete Documents\Goflight Interface Tool to start from scratch.

  • I tried to reinstall as I had no back up files.
I cant seem to make it work,
In the Debug.txt it gives the following:

    SimConnect Message Processing Started
WinSock: Connection Failed: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:27015
LUA Processor: Connect Exception - Unable To Connect!

    Is that a help?
  • Is FlightSimIOLua running? IS your firewall blocking communication to FlightSimIOLua?

  • It's worked OK this afternoon. Strange, it connected, just needed to enable and press FS
  • I'm having the same problem with XPlane 12. Deleted the C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\PollyPot_Software folder and now have 2nd error as previous poster. See images. Any help would be great as this is a bummer issue.

  • Your config files in Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool are corrupt. Restore from a backup or alternatively you can try the Backup folder in DocumentsGoFlight Interface Tool, renaming the files to match.

If still no joy, delete Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool so GIT starts clean, but you will lose your config data.
