Inconsistent Saving of DIO settings?

I have two DIO boards that have been working in the past. I have a number of LED outputs and switch inputs working on each, configured for PMDG737 using P3d v4 64bit. I have downloaded the latest GIT 64bit version as well. I also have EFIS, MCP Pro, and TQ6 all working perfectly.

Here's my problem- Every once and a while when I got into DIO config area, and set some new switch settings or set new LED configurations, it doesn't seem to 'stick' when I close the DIO config and/or restart the connection between GIT and P3D. Sometimes the settings stay, and sometimes they seem to revert. I still need to do more troubleshooting or experimenting, but it feels like when certain settings are triggered that cause a Simconnect error (such as me having issues setting value 0 for the 737 autobrake switch) that seems to trigger that lack of saving if my memory serves.

Has anyone seem anything similar when configuring DIOs?

  • Thanks for the feedback John. I'll put it on my to-do list to check if there is a problem but it would really help if you can define the series of steps that always create the issue.

    Best wishes

  • Sounds good, I'll do some testing and see if I can't constantly trigger the no-save situation
