(2.0.14.1)

I have installed the current software version (2.0.14.1) for use with Xplane 11.26. After installing the software none of my Goflight modules work. I keep getting a (Not Responding) window on top of the Polypot software screen.

How do I get the previous version of the software before 2.0.14.1 ?

  • Completely uninstall and reinstall. Make sure GFDev.dll is present in the installation directory.

    Best wishes

  • I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Goflight Interface plugin. GFDev.dll is present in the installation directory located at C/programfiles (x86)/goflight interface plugin.

The program launches and connects with xplane but then freezes with (Not Responding) on the top of the window and closes the program.
  • It sounds like something is missing on your system. Have you run a Windows update recently? If you have, try starting GIT with a clean config by renaming Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool

  • Hi Steve,

I did recently update my computer but the software was causing problems before I did the updates. It was working ok until I updated to version 2.0.14.1.

I have tried renaming Documents\Goflight Interference Tool.

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling to C\Programfiles (x86)\documents\goflight interface tool.

The program is loading and then freezing and closing.

  • OK, I'll recompile it and provide a temporary link to see if that helps.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • I have PM'd you a link. Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

    Thanks
    Steve
  • I have installed the new version software. I am still having the same issues, as soon as I load the software and try to assign a few commands the software freezes with Not responding on the top of the window and the program closes.

The program does seem to run a bit smoother than the previous version.
  • Can you check if its happening with all aircraft or just a particular aircraft.

    Thanks
    Steve
  • Help me...I was forced to change my email and now I can not download the latest software...

    Old e-mail : will@multiplaybandalarga.com.br

    New e-mail: willnogueira51@GMAIL.COM.

    Who helps me?

    what should I do ?
  • Steve,

I have been using the Embraer 190 and 170 form X-crafts every time the software stops responding. I have tried the software with other aircraft and it seems to function ok. I am using version 2.4 for the Embraer which did work with the software until I installed the update 2.0.14.1.

  • Heligaz,

Ok, so changes must have been made to GIT that have made these aircraft incompatible with it. What version of GIT last worked with them and do you have links to the aircraft?

    Thanks
    Steve
  • That's really odd because the prior release only has a couple of fixes that wouldn't impact these aircraft. I will PM you a link to the old version so you can install that and confirm the aircraft works OK with the old version.

    Thanks
    Steve
  • Steve,

I have tried both versions of the software with Xplane with still the same problems. I have updated Xplane to 11.30 and installed 2.0.14.0 first with no luck and then updated to version 2.0.14.1.

I was getting an error message for the 2.0.14.0 and then the software would not connect the Embraer with version 2.0.14.1 either

  • It must be something else that has changed on your system if the old version no longer works. Have the aircraft been recently updated?

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Hi Steve,

The aircraft was updated from V2.3 to V2.4. Below is a link to the changes in the update.

    https://store.x-plane.org/Embraer-E-175-v24_p_515.html#tab-9

  • Nothing stands out in the change log that would cause the issue. Can you roll back to 2.3 to confirm this is the problem?

    Thanks
    Steve
  • Steve,

I installed version 2.3.0 and it still won't connect with the Embraer. I have used it with the Cessna 172 and B737 , it works ok with 172 but disconnects with the B737.
  • Can you rename Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool and try 2.3.0 again.

    Thanks
    Steve
  • Steve,

I have reinstalled Software version 2.0.3 to location

    C\Programfiles (x86)\documents\goflight interface

The C172 and B737 work perfectly with this version but once again the Embraer 175/195 won't connect and the program stops responding and closes.

Is version 2.0.3 the same as version 2.3, if not could you forward me on the proper version and I will try it.

    Heligaz
  • Version 2.0.3 is very old.

Can you right click on the GIT icon and select Properties, then in Shortcut tab in the Target field, add /log to the end, so it looks something like:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFlight Interface Tool X-Plane\GoFlight Interface Tool X-Plane.exe" /log

This will produce a log file in your Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool directory. Load up the Embraer and then copy and paste the log here.

    Thanks
    Steve
  • Steve,

    attatched is the log file
  • That's not shown any issues that would cause this behaviour.

Does the aircraft LED blink continuously once the plane is active?
Do you have a screen dump of any error message GIT throws up?

    Thanks
    Steve
  • Steve,

No the aircraft green LED stays steady no blinking. Also all the red x's stay red with no green ticks as when I use the B737 or C172.

    No error messages appear either.

Ok, do any datarefs and commands appear in the combo boxes on any GIT config tab? IF so are any aircraft specific?
  • Steve

I have tried the older Embraer 2.3 version with polypot software version 2.0.3 but still no luck connecting. An error message did appear for version 2.4 of the Embraer. Xplane just lists the aircraft as GENERIC and then E175/E195 underneath.
  • OK. Try the latest GIT with the Embraer and tell me any datarefs and commands appear in the combo boxes on any GIT config tab? IF so are any aircraft specific?
  • Steve,

I have used Software version 2.0.14.1 with Embraer 175 V2.3 and Embraer 195 V2.4 . Both aircraft have options to assign commands for Xcrafts/EMB. I am attaching a copy of the log for both aircraft. The progam became non responsive and closed aswell.
  • Steve ,

    Embraer V2.4 log
