How do i get the latest download of GIT

My current installation of GIT is not up to date I believe, also I cannot get the Detective tab to work

i keep getting a message that a new er version is available. I go to my account and download program. I tried this three times and still get the same message. I have been getting error messages when i try to load it. Enclosed are screenshots of errors.

It looks like your config file may be corrupted. Try renaming Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool to something else.
