New XP11 Zibo user with Installomnia
Hi.
I'm building a 737 home cockpit (on the cheap) and recently got a bargain mcp second hand.
The owner kindly supplied the software (v 2.0.14.0 according to the ChangeLog file)
Obviously I cant upgrade this software.
I have downloaded the David Williams Zibo file, but for the life of me I cant find any instruction on where to place the file(s).
The plugin appears in the Xplane PlugIn Admin, and all the lights come on.
The "Detective" instructions dont make sense as I have no running program, just an interface by the look of it.
Any help much appreciated

I have imported the Zibo file, and am having fun running through all the interesting features.
It appears to be damaged and the Vert Speed dial is inop, however all the rotaries are working as expected...
If you have any info which may be helpful, please post.
Best wishes
I've attached my latest configuration files. I store them in ...\Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool. The import will bring up a import dialog for you to choose where to pick the device configuration up from.
The configurations use some bespoke variable for VVI and msp speed. Make sure they have been imported. Best way is to get rid of everything and use the import wizard.
Let us know how you get on.
Regards,
David
Thank you so much for your help.
The panel works well and I'm trying to understand the operation of the GIT over and above installing your profile :-)
As I said in the post above, the thing was very inexpensive as the V/S dial and display aren't functioning.
I intend to open the unit to see if anything is obviously shorting/faulty... (once I work out what these fasteners are!)
I dont currently have A/T light, V/S is lit all the time, CMD A is unlit when in use, amongst others but this may be due to damage... The FO Course register has intermittent segments, so I'm hoping it may simply be a loose connection.
I've had DataRefTool installed for some time, so am conversant with the method.
Can you answer this? Under Import, the browser wants a file called MCPPRO-0.xml, but all I have in the collection are GFMCPPRO-0.xml files. b738_GFMCPPRO-0.xml to be precise. Are these one and the same?
I did read that there may be conflict if using an OC script alongside GIT, which you can see I am....
Thankyou
The name of the file shouldn't matter. In my case the Aircraft section reads GENERIC b738_4k as I'm flying the 4k model of Zibo's B738. I think it matches the name of the ACF file and is case sensitive. The same configuration works for both the b738 and the b738_4k.
With the import wizard you need to select the b738 zip file and check the boxes corresponding to your devices.
I find if you have issues with the lights, is to click on the button in the sim to see if they come.
