    Hi Steve and all:

I will contact PMDG on the "spring loaded" Baro and MINM switches.

I have found the autobrake setting for the B777, it is EVT_ABS_AUTOBRAKE_SELECTOR (rather than (EVT_MPM_AUTOBRAKE_SELECTOR as in the B737)

I noted your response to Terry on the "cluster" lights switching.

    Thanks as always,
    Roberto

    Steve,
Just a report on the Beta for the 777. Everything worked perfect..!!!!!!!
I thought you mentioned that the landing gear status lights did not work. In mine (GF-LGT the older one) they worked just fine, green when down, red when in transition and off when up and locked.
Just a few suggestions for guys with few buttons and switches. I know you are looking at some but here are a few more suggestions.
    1. Cluster the Landing lights
    2. Cluster the turn off lights
    3. Cluster the CRT dim/brighten rotary so that 1 knob controls all screens brightness.
    4. Cluster the back lighting on all the panels, left , right, and glare shield. 1 knob to control all.
    5. Cluster the overhead lighting.
In fact the more you can cluster of events the better off we all are. Switches and knobs are a premium and we only have a few of them. But only do what you can, it is just and idea or suggestion for you.

1 question, I found the data for the master caution light to drive the WP6 panel but I could not find the event to program the WP6 button to reset it. Do you know where it is or what it is called?

I am not sure if all those can be done, but if they could that would be great.
Again I can not say thank you enough for what you have done in getting this equipment to work with PMDG and others. I have about $2000.00USD in go-flight equipment and without your program I would be using the mouse to fly the PMDG aircraft. Thank you!!!

    Hi Terry,

That's good news about the LGT lights. I wasn't sure if they would work because with the NGX, the SDK provided the LED data.

I'll look at doing some cluster additions at the weekend and take the new release out of Beta.

I think the MC events are EVT_MASTER_CAUTION_RESET_LEFT and ....._RIGHT

    Thanks for your support.

    Best wishes

The 10-640 box logic is reversed so if you uncheck it the 10-640 range will match up with the 777(which is already 10-640)

I don't think that checkbox is even needed for the 777 since it matches already (unless there is some airline option that allows it to be different, not sure) unlike the NGX( doesn't have 10-640 so this was needed)?

Anyways I just wanted to say thanks again Steve , I donated a week or so ago, I know it's not much but thx for your hard work getting this to us. Hopefully the new service pack 1C doesn't break anything.

    Hello Steve & everyone,

I would like to tell you that the new beta GIT works perfectly with the PMDG B777X for me.

Since november last year I use the MCP, LGTII, RP48, 166, Yoke system and TQ6. All worked very well with the PMDG B737NGX. Since the arrival of the PMDG B777X I was hoping you would be able to get the software running for that plane as well. And so, a few days ago I discovered there was a new Interface Tool.

It took me two hours to get it running with the B777 and it looks as though I have no issues with it. Unbelievable. I just made a donation for your great work.
    Thank you very much indeed.

Steve will this work with the upcoming release of the 777 for P3Dv2?

I'm kind of confused on the P3D version of GIT , with this new version it removed the P3D version and will not let me install it because there is a newer version installed.

Does this mean that GIT now works with all 3 sims (I've been using it on GA aircraft and works OK) or do we still need a different version to support P3Dv2 properly?

The release of P3D 1.4 didn't provide any backward compatibility for simconnect, hence the specific P3D version. Lockheed Martin have since corrected this issue and thus there appears to be no longer a need for a specific P3D version.

Is there any way to create custom bespoke variables for any of the PMDG products? Technically is this possible?

    Hello Steve,

First, the GFIT Beta Ver. 2.1.2.0 works well and I've encountered only 2 relatively minor issues.

    1) Cargo doors (all) - Thus far, I'm baffled. Can not get a LED to light correctly when the doors are either open or closed. (Not a problem with cabin doors). Any suggestions?

    2) PMDG 777-300 -  Opening and/or closing DOOR 5L or 5R can not be assigned. It would appear "EVT_DOOR_5L" and "EVT_DOOR_5R" are missing under the Custom Shortcut Events listed in the PMDG 777 SDK header file. The GFIT Beta does have a "DATA_DOOR_5L" and "DATA_DOOR_5R" that will light a LED (if that door is opened using the FMC CDU).

    Hi Both,

No there is no way bespoke events can be created when using PMDG SDK's. To achieve it would require a major rewrite.

I'll take a look at those two issues Claude asap.

    Hi Claude,

    Door 5 is EVT_DOOR_OVERWING_EXIT_L and EVT_DOOR_OVERWING_EXIT_R.

There is no data item to check all the door states. I will add a CLUSTER item for the next release to do this.

"OVERWING"?  Well I suppose I might well have stumbled on that over time if I tried. ;-).

Thanks!  And we'll patiently await the next release.

    Hi Klaus,

Have you gone through the FAQ found here: http://www.pollypot-software.org.uk/support/faq.html

    Thanks

Klaus you can't use that version 2.0.1131.0  for the 777 you need the BETA version at the top of this thread.

The Beta is now finished. Please download version 2.1.3.0 (or above) from the Goflight Interface Tool page.

    Best wishes
