PMDG 737NGXu Gear retraction issue with LGT
Hi everyone - I'm enjoying the 737 NGXu and everything is working except gear retraction on the LGT. Raising gear only brings it up to the "OFF" (middle) position. Even cycling it I cannot get it to retract to "UP"; I end up having to use the G key. Latest versions of everything, and it worked fine in NGX.
User error or SDK change?
Thanks!
Mike

See the LGT section here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/36-configuring-goflight-devices-additional-information-pmdg-ngx-77x-747x.html

But with the NGXu, it’s working like this: Down to Lock with the 1st cycle (red gear lights but no gear retraction), Lock to Down with the 2nd.
I take it that’s not what you’re experiencing?
Thanks,
Mike
I will have to look into it. Its the same code as used by the NGX but perhaps PMDG have changed something for the NGXu which has broken it.
Best wishes

I can confirm the behaviour of my LGT II, exactly as Mike is describing.
The only difference is that at times, totally randomly it appears, the device will function just as the "real" gear lever. That means, that the lever will go all the way up to "UP", the same will happen in the airplane, the gear will retract and then I can lower the lever one notch, to "OFF", and the same will happen in the airplane.
But, most of the time, it will behave as Mike indicated.
Regards,
Roberto
I was just about to request some help on this when I saw it here.
PMDG must have changed something, the only way it will work is if I hit the "G" key on the keyboard, as the gear raises I lift the LGT lever to up. Once its retracted, I cycle the gear lever on the LGT to down and back up to get it into the off position on PMDG. Once its off I can lower the gear with the lever.
Thanks
