GO FLIGHT GF-P8 BUTTONS NOT WORKING
Hi, I had a number of these units and many more for years and now these particular p-8 buttons fail to program. They keep their old settings but refuse to be reprogrammed. When I clear the old key press panel there is no new panel into which I can put my new setting. Is this a Microsoft update issue or is their another fix please.

Thx

I have an MCP pro a 6 panel G166 radio module and three GF-8's so its no mean set up but wasted for lack of knowledge on software integration. This this seems a shame as I would dearly love it to work and maybe need an on site guy to visit but I digress.
Anyway thank you for your reply and I will supply whatever you guide me
Thx
Steve
I enclose two screenshots of the config panel for keypresses program by G.Flight:
1. Is the normal format with key presses that were programmed shown clearly in their two boxes which will be operated when that button is pressed.
2. Is the current format shown when you try to change a keypress from a previous one or start a new one there is no box or boxes to see in which to do it.
I have been using this program for about 16 years now and this is the first time it have developed any fault or bug.
Thank you for your help and interest as you are the only source of input for this matter so far
David
Best wishes

I think you have solved this for me and thank you.
I recently moved to windows 10 and thought I had "Run as Admin" on all the necessary programs. It seems that this one got through the net.
There is one thing that puzzles me and the following sequence of button presses was used to do a function as default in the program and i don't remember having any difficulty before in Windows 7 ..Rt Alt+ C now this is not possible to program as the keypress program inserts L Cntrl as well regardless of how you press the keys to set it up. I have gotten around this by using another unused sequence of key combinations but I am sure I did not have this problem before. Is it a windows 10 thing or a Go Flight thing, please.
As an aside to this :
I do wish I had found it easier to program Xplane and Go Flight products with your software but I simply gave up as the MCP pro never seemed to respond properly and the GF-166 multi-panel gave different readings and froze inconsistently. You explain it cannot be plug and play but for mere mortals like me it was too much. I have five screens with PMG instruments on one and map on second networked together using Wide client so I not a complete idiot but I really would like to fly by instruments again as I found it rewarding and comparatively easier with MS 9 etc.
I await the arrival of the new MS 2020 system and hope this will be an easier trick.
hank you for your help, my flights in IL2 will be a lot easier again
