FS2020 - Settings Not Saved

Hi Steve,
Congrats on getting GFIT out so quickly for 2020. It's installed and I have had success setting up my GoFlight controls.
I'm stuck trying to save my settings though. I go to the Settings tab, click Save Settings, but there is no dialog asking for a filename to save to, and when I close and restart GFIT, all devices are disabled. Probably a Windows Security setting somewhere that is preventing the save? Appreciate any assistance and thanks again for this tool that makes over $1000 of GoFlight hardware useful instead of scrap. Not to mention my full size cockpit!
Cheers,
Rowland

  • Hi,

Make sure you have version 4.2.0.0 as it fixes the save bug. If you do have it, it can look like the devices are disabled, but when you select a device number, it does update its status.

It saves settings automatically when an aircraft changes or you quit GIT

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Hi Steve,
I have 4.2.0.0 and I was interpreting all the devices being "Disabled" as meaning the setting were lost. At one point the MCP hardware was dark also, which confirmed my thinking.
But now I see that even though all devices are shown as "Disabled," things are actually working.
Thanks for the speedy response and again, thanks for the software.
    Cheers,
    Rowland
