1st December: A new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool for MSFS is now available.
12th November: A new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool for X-Plane is now available.
6th June: A new version of Virtual Flight Sim Hardware is now available (huge update)
21st November: A new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool for FSX/FSXSE/P3D is now available.

CAUTION: GIT without the GoFlight device plugged will reset all existing values in Settings.xml

I was going to post my completed Aerosoft A320 MCP-Pro, EFIS, and most of all the other actions, but sadly I lost all my work because a USB hub went down and I loaded GIT (did nothing), but exited GIT and it cleared out all my existing A320 mappings.

Fortunately I keep regular backups of MCP-Pro and EFIS (exports), but I lost a 2 days worth of work on all the other devices (SECM, MESM, P8, T8, RP48, WP6, etc.).

I was going to post the links to the A320 today, but it'll take me a few days to recover, sorry.

Steve ... not sure if this is something you want to address ... technically my fault for not making sure the USB hub was on, but it isn't something I normally do and didn't expect GIT to wipe out any existing settings when a GF device isn't found.

Cheers, Rob.

  • Hi Rob,

That's clearly a bug. I'm surprised no one has spotted that earlier. I'll add it to the bug list for fixing.

    Best wishes

Thanks Steve, appreciate it.  I recovered pretty quickly since I had exports and my Bespokes were all still there.  Finished up the Airbus A320 (aerosoft) and A2A C182 ... also including a small demo video of your excellent tool in use (don't get into too many details, more of this is what you can do with GIT).

Anyway, will have those files and video up sometime tonight for your use/links or whatever you might want to do with them.

    Cheers, Rob.

EDIT: it didn't reset ALL my GFDevices, just a few ... for example the DIO wasn't affected at all.  But the EFIS, SECM, MESM, MCP-Pro, some P8's but not all and my T8, and one RP48 (out of two).
