Displays of MCP and GF166 not working revisited
With the releases of MSFS2020 I dug out my old GF devices and installed GIT to get them working again. I learned in these forums that the MCP, GF166 and GF46 had problems with modern Windows 10 USB power management and with trial and error I got them working. They worked flawlesly since today. I had to dismantle my PC setup in order to move to another room. After reconnecting all devices with the same USB hubs, all displays stayed dark.
Of course I checked in Windows if all devices, hubs and root-hubs had USB Power management disabled. I even reïnstalled the GIT software but no luck, displays stay dark. What can be the cause of this? Nothing had changed, no software updates between today and yesterday. No new hardware, just unpluging everything and reconnecting caused this behavior. Is Windows saving some hardware Id’s or whatever?

Are they plugged into a powered hub?
Are they connected to USB2 rather than USB3 ports?
