MCP Pro will not work with PMDG NGX

I have been using the InterfaceTool with my NGX and other aircraft for quite a while. This morning the MCP pro will not start up with the NGX, but will start if I change the aircraft. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Interface Tool and Goflight config a couple of times without change. Comptabile add-ons is selected in the configuration set up and location of the sim is correct.

I am using P3D v5.1.

Has anything changed on your system? IS it enabled on the MCP PRO tab when the NGX is loaded? If might be worth deleting the MCP PRO config for the NGX (have the NGX loaded at VC, on the MCP PRO tab, click the X button). Then quit GIT, restart GIT and enable the MCP PRO.

Steve, thank you for the reply. The Status tab shows the NGX with all 3 green buttons. The MCP Pro tab shows Disabled but it will not let me click on the X beside Device. I tried to attach screen shots but I am not optimistic that you will be able to see these. I went to where the LUA files are located and deleted the 737 file. This file rebuilt when I started up the Interface Tool again.

Here is what I have done: deleted every reference to Goflight that I could find on my PC, including the registry. Uninstalled and reinstalled the PMDG NGX. Installed the full P3D v5.1 hotfix released Nov 19.20. Downloaded (again) and installed the Goflight config and Goflight Interface Tool 64 bit. This time I installed to the same directory where P3D resides (drive d: instead of C:\program files (86).

The MCP pro will work with other aircraft so I think this rules out a hardware issue.

You need to select Device 0 from the drop down and make sure its enabled. Also see the FAQ entry about the MCP PRO just showing zeros.

I had already tried that a few times without success. But I just downloaded the new version of GIT and after a bit of fiddling with the MCPPro tab without knowing what I was doing in particular, the MCP Pro started up. So thank you very much for your help.
