Hi Drover,
The steps are:
1) In your flight sim get to the virtual cockpit of the aircraft you wish to load the settings for.
2) Click Detective button in GIT and click the Import button. Select the XML file that is simply the name of the aircraft. E.g. CS_777-200ER_GE.xml.This will then have loaded all bespoke events into GIT. You can now assign these bespoke events to your goflight hardware.
3) If configs have been supplied for the MCP, MCP PRO or EFIS, go to the relevant device tab in GIT and select Import. Pick the XML file that is the aircraft name ending with the device type e.g. CS_777-200ER_GE_GFEFIS.xml.
4) Quit GIT and reload it.
Have you installed the backend DLL in FSX? Instructions are in the online user guide.
Note the button only becomes available once flight sim is running in sim mode i.e. you have started or loaded a flight and the virtual cockpit is visible.
Best wishes
Steve
