Bringing my MCP Pro Back Up in P3D

I had to set my flightsimming aside for nearly six months doe to RW affairs in a world turned upside down.Trying to get my 737NGXu GoFlight modules back running. Updated/reinstalled GIT for P3D. Checked all my power management setting in device manager (6 of the 45 were checked to sleep from updates).
When I connect the MCP Pro and EFIS all have 0’s in the windows, although in the device dialog they come up not enabled. I enable both manually.
I’m getting a yellow Sim Connect light after about 30 seconds after I connect. My two 166’s are working fine, which is nice!
Any reasons why I would get a simconnect error and how I might fix it.

Thanks!

100% fully retired now and looking forward to climbing back up the learning curve, again.

Cheers!

Can you copy and paste the GIT log.

    Thx
    Steve
  • Sure... Here you go. Of note: My FS2020 version runs fine. I did redownload and reinstall the PD3 64bit for V4. The last lines of the log "Send Control Data: Too Many Retries" continues without pause as long as I allow it. I had to pause the sim to get the copy and even that was giving me fits trying to copy the logfile while connected. Thanks for your help.
  • Two things appear wrong. First it looks like the GoFlight Interface Module.dll is not running, or its being blocked by a firewall:

11:51:25 WinSock: Connection Failed: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:27015

    The SimConnect version is wrong:

    11:51:25 Simconnect Version: 1.4.0.0

Make sure you install the 64Bit version of GIT in the Program Files directory and not Program Files (x86) as it may pick up the wrong Simconnect.dll's.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • After a few houis of frustration and configuration attempts I have completely uninstalled both GIT for P3D and FS2020. I also removed GoFlight software. Starting from ground zero as I am getting a cascade of errors. Probably a smart thing to do after over five years of the same instances build after built. Should be a good learwning exercise too. I installed the GFConfig software into Program Files, even though it defaulted to Program Files (x86). I then attempted to install GIT P3D64bit. All good until registration. I pasted my key in and get "Registration Failed 202 Exceeded install Count". I attempted to log in and look at my downloads. Upon attempting to log back in I get "We are Sorry error has occured. 0 Class 'Easy Calc CheckPlus\Helper' not found. Please advise. Thanks.
  • It should work OK now.
