Fresh Install Simconnect INOP

HI Steve,

Installed a fresh copy of FS2020. Configured the 3 aircraft I fly. Test flights. All good.

Downloaded latest FS2020 GIT files and followed directions. GIT installed into C:Program Files, Git Documents folder created OK, Commuity folder has the WASM file installed.

Upon Launch I get a solid yellow Simconnect light. Attached is the log file.

Of note... I have 4 instances of simconnect in my apps and features list, either 10.0.61259.0 or 10.0.6905.0.

Reviewed your upcoming projects in the announcements. Exciting stuff!

Appreciate any insights here.

Thank You!

  • Hi Steve... when you refer to "it" installed in the wrong place, are you referencing the GIT WASM module from your download site that needs to be placed into the community folder? I am absolutely positive the module downloaded from the GIT site is sitting in the correct community folder, where there is also FSUIPC for FS2020 and a small dirt airport up in Alaska that was had crafted for me that FS2020 did not include. It shows up fine and FSUIPC connects the new ACARS software I use in my VA. I'm aware of the location of my community folder, but thank you for the reference.

I will remove the GIT WASM module, if "it" is what your refering to and replace it with a fresh download and report back.

    Appreciate the help!
