Goflight GF-166A

Hello
Since the latest update, version 4.5.1.0, my GF-166A from Goflight no longer works at all. I can set the NAV frequencies, but then not switch from standby to active.

And an old mistake still consists in the fact that it is not possible to set e.g. NAV on the left display and COM on the right display. to switch e.g. between NAV1 and NAV2 with the corresponding buttons. Similarly, the right button COM1 / COM2
The middle button to switch from standby to active.

Kind regards, Peter

  • Just done a quick test and it works OK for me. I would press the NAV button on the GF166 tab to reset it back to default values.

  • Hello Steve
I had to reinstall the software. Now it works again. I thank you for your support. Unfortunately I do not find the settings that I can e.g. on the left button nav1 / nav2 and on the right button com1 / com2 can be set. with the middle button i could set the standby frequency to active. At the moment I can only program nav or com. If it doesn't bother you too much, you could tell me the settings which are necessary for the respective buttons.

I'm 71 years old and it's not as easy as it used to be. Thank you for your patience

  • Hi Peter,

The config is a combination of the NAV and COM defaults that you can easily examine by pressing the relevant buttons. If that doesn't help, please bear with me; I'm in the last steps of delivering a new product that has been like climbing Mount Everest. I need to get this beast of project settled and then I can focus again on individual support.

    Best wishes
