SendKey does not work in MSFS2020

Hello for me SendKey or SendKey* does not work in Detective, independant which command I'm using, GFIT is in admin mode. Keyboead stokes at the same config are working fine, simulator is in fullscreen mode. Did I miss something, for SendKey event e.g. L for lights control I got: BespokeEventProcessor: Task Failed SendKey VK_L. Best regards Ralf

  • The way FS2020 works it wont respond to external key presses. It's on my list to find a work around, if possible.

  • Hello! New to the GIT for MSFS.
I was wondering if a work around has been identified for the SendKey?

    Thanks.
  • New version up today, fixes this.
  • Thank you!
  • Hello Steve, SendKey is working now, unfortunately I have to set it for PMDG B736 (MSFS) first in another plane since the Detective is grayed out for the B736, but it works. Thank your for your work at all and best regards Ralf
  • Use GIT Lua and write a simple script like:

    sendkey ( "L", CONTROL | SHIFT ) which would send CTRL+SHIFT L

then assign the script to your control.

  • thank you for implementing, please check for shift+A (toggle to prev instrument view) it is giving the same as toggle to fwd instrument view. Tried with left and right shift, no luck, toggle to foreward instrument view (sendkey A) is working fine. Best regards Ralf
  • I'll look into it.

    Best wishes
