GoFlight's website is down

It would appear that GoFlight has finally bit the dust. Their website account has been suspended. Microsoft even flagged it as "unsafe".

It could be that they failed to renew their domain.

I'll post on their Facebook page, but I'm not expecting a reply...

  • What a sad and unprofessional way for a company to end business. All those empty promises about the future. Why on earth could they not make some form of announcement?

Thank goodness for Steve. Without him we’d all have hardware gathering dust.

YES...Thank you Steve. I have about $2000 worth of GoFlight hardware I would hate to see that go to waste.

I have an issue with my GoFlight MCP Pro VS knob. I had some advice here to fix it. Was hoping Go Flight would be come back, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

  • I had done a quote for the owner 3 months back about updating their drivers for FS2020 compatibility, so I'm not sure that they have gone under. He still seemed very much on board to restarting the business. I know he has had some serious health problems, so we can only speculate.

The website account is suspended, not closed, so I guess it may be a non payment issue to the ISP or a breach of T&C's. I notified John Krieg that the website was down and he was going to contact him, as I only have the owners GoFlight email and I'm sure that is suspended as well. I have no way to reach the owner now, other than via John.

Anyway, you will be pleased to know I'm working on a brand new version of GIT using the code base from Virtual Flight Sim Hardware which is going to make it look more like GFConfig along with a more professional UI, faster and more reliable code and simpler configuration via Snippets amongst other benefits.

I will always support GoFlight gear whilst there is a demand.

    Best wishes

  • Thanks for that Update Steve. His health issues must be serious if he’s not able to ask anyone else to sort out the issues.

That sounds like excellent news regarding the new interface. Could you make it compatible with 4K displays please? The GFConfig one is very tiny and difficult to use.
