P3D 2.5 and the new PMDG B737 NGX
Everything worked fine with FSX SP2 and the PMDG NGX for FSX. Last night I installed the new PMDG 737 NGX that is for P3D. I am running P3D 2.5 and Windows 7/64 Bit.
All the Goflight modules and throttle work great, but the GF-MCP-PRO does not work now. Numerical digits jump all over the place, the Autothrottle switch immediately returns to the off position when you try to turn it on......... etc........
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks......... Mike

I forgot to mention, I am running GoFlight Config v 2.25, and GIF v 2.1.70
Hi Mike,
Check that GFConfig is set to compatiable addon for the MCP PRO. You could also try quiting the Goflight data bridge (small blue square icon with a black plane on it in the notification bar of the taskbar). Use the latest version of GIT.
Best wishes
Steve
Hi Steve,
I just installed GIT 2.1.10.0 and it made no difference.
I will try your other suggestions and report back.
Thank you again,
Mike
Hi Steve, Here is what I found.
If I quit the GoFlight data bridge BEFORE I start GIF, all works great........... at least so far!
Thanks again!
Sounds like GFConfig is set incorrectly then.
Best wishes
Steve
I have looked in GFConfig numerous times and I cannot find anything that looks wrong. Not an issue as long as I quit GFConfig, databridge, everything works fine.....
I do have another questions:
Is there any way to have the LEDs on the 166 radio module to come on when you select radio 1 or 2? I have tried every combination I can think of in GIT with no luck. everything else on Com1/2 and Nav1/2 works fine.
Thanks.
Mike
Hi Mike,
Check both tabs in GFConfig for compatible add-on against the MCP PRO. The tabs are for each sim (one for Prepar3D, the other FSX).
No, there is no variable to light the LED's for that function. I would need to add specifc support in GIT.
Best wishes
Steve
Hi Steve ! You were right on the money... I missed one of the tabs. Now that GFconfig is configured properly, all works great!
Thank you.
Mike
