GF 166
Hello Steve
The manual states
These devices have 4 configurations (1 through 4) that can be loaded dynamically by pushing a button on the device.
What are the 4 configurations? Com1, com2. Nav1, and Nav2 or com, nav, adf and transponder?
Thanks
Terry

Hi Terry,
You can click the COM1&2 NAV1&2 or ADF1&2 buttons on the 166 tab to install default configurations. You can also build you own to do whatever simconnect and the PMDG SDK allows you to do.
Best wishes
Steve
I understand that the presets can be used, but I want to fully understand this. Did I not guess the 4 configurations with my two guess?
Thanks
Terry
The 4 configurations represent 4 ways to configure a display or button. To configure a GF166 to support the preconfigured Com1 and Com2 needs 2 configurations:
1 - Com1
2 - Com2
3 - not used
4 - not used.
Consider the configurations as 4 different "layers" than can be cycled through to display different things.
Best wishes
Steve
