A interesting finding

I'm trying to program my GoFlight modules to work with the FBW A320NX. I've found that the aircraft will not taxi or takeoff without veering hard right while on the ground when GIT is running. Interestingly, if I start Detective the plane will once again taxi and takeoff in a controllable fashion. When in the air, this does not seem to occur. I've searched for interference and can find none. BTW, I use the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and CHpedals. If anyone has any suggestions I'd listen intently.

  • Untick Enable Joysticks in the GIT Settings tab in case you have assigned an axis via GIT.

    Best wishes

  • Joysticks is unchecked; however, I do see this entry in the log "06:28:58 Loading Joysticks". When using the outside view of the sim, I can see the rudder and nosewheel go hard right when GIT is enabled.
  • do you have checked the rudder trim at ECAM page, maybe there is an unintentionally input e.g. from GF-LGT2 or other module? Best regards Ralf
  • Here's what I know so far. If I start the FBW 330 and then GIT, the plane will take a hard, uncontrollable turn to the right. If I then start Detective, the plane is steerable again. If I then cancel Detective, the plane remains steerable. I've searched the bespoke events I have developed and can find no interfering commands. I'll keep looking, but at least I've found a workaround.
  • Does it happen during synchronising buttons and switches (see the GIT log)?

    Best wishes

  • Steve, Tried to send a copy of the log but it was so long it wouldn't fit.
  • Zip it up and attach it to your post.

    Thx

  • Steve, Wanted you to know that since my last post, I've had no failures. If I get another I'll zip up the log and send it.
