Yellow light on GIT

Good evening.
When I start the GF config tool 3 out of my 4 goflight panels light up, the GF RP48 will not light up and the other 3 GF166 and GF46 light up but have no data on them.
3 green light come on the GIT but then drop down to 2 and the goflight modules will not show any data when I have MSFS 2020 running with GIT, very frustrating.
Can someone please help me. Please find attached some photos.
Thank you.
Regards.
Terry

Have you configured the devices in GIT? (See this overview https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/vanillaforums/discussion/1436/fs2020-feature-status-and-usage/p1). Can you also post your GIT log.

  • Thank you.
I have now got GIT running with MSFS2020 but I really don't know how to configure my GF48 GF166 and GF46, there are so many boxes and drop down boxes on the GIT for the different modules, I do not know where to start, for example I am doing a training mission on the Cessna 152 but just do not know what to allocate to each button and drop down box, is there some sort of tutorial that shows the best setting for each aircraft and what they do.
Thank you for all your help so far.
  • The GF166 and GF46 can be auto configured by clicking one of the relevant buttons on their respective GIT tabs as described in the link from my previous post.

The full user guide is here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git.html The beginners guide contains links to videos when using GIT with P3D, however the principles are the same.

  • Ok thank you so much. I have 2 x GF 166 but can only get one to work, any ideas please.
  • Videos still not working.
  • Yes they are. If you are looking at Robs, you need to click the video twice.

As for the GF166, I need more information. Does the identify button light it up?

  • Remember I have 2 166 but only device 0 can be enabled and identified, the other 166 should be device 1 but is not showing up.
  • Ok, then there is a hardware fault. Is the unit faulty? Is the USB cable OK? Is the hub/USB port enabled and functioning OK? Have you tried a different USB port?

    Best wishes
