Need help or refund

I have already posted on here regarding issues with GIT. The problem I am having is the same as a lot of posts and I think it needs a conclusion. I cannot get a consistent connection between the go flight Modules and fs2020 by randomly unplugging replugging usb’s restarting software I can get them to work but once the simulator is closed they again loose connection. This problem is well documented and should be addressed by Pollypot or some proper support offered to resolve this issue. Just saying try a different usb port or try direct to PC is not enough especially as there is no demo version to try before you buy. Please email me on a resolution or refund my payment my email address is Paul.marchinton@hotmail.co.uk

  • I am certainly not an expert but here are some things I've found helpful.

Go into device manager (type "device manager" in the search box." Then go into the universal serial bus controllers, select them one at a time and under power management unselect "allow computer to turn off this device to save power".

Download the original GoFlight drivers from the downloads section of this web site and from the download select Windows8fixer.cmd. Run it as administrator.

Make sure your windows installation is up to date.

Make sure your Net Framework is up to date.

Lastly, many of us realize that this software is not an easily programmable system. I'm still struggling with the FBW A320; however, it the program is constantly disconnecting from MSFS it's not the program. Something is amiss in your installation.

Best wishes. Let us know if this gets solved.
  • This issue has existed before GIT ever existed. I saw it in my first Goflight setup in 2008 running GoFlights own software, their supplied hubs and running FSX. It's got nothing to do with GIT; it's a firmware issue in the hardware itself and needed to be fixed by Goflight as far as I understand; in the same way they stopped the lock ups in the MCP Pro with a firmware update from A22 to A25.

    Best wishes
    Steve
