Blocked from Installing Files in use
Good Day,
I am trying to install the new version 3.0.2.0 of GIT for X-plane and Mcafee is using files that need to be updated, I have never had this problem before could you advise which is the safest way to install GIT without Disabling the software, It also will not auto close the application.
The message I receive is.
the following applications are using files that need to be updated by set-up. It is recommended that you allow set-up to automatically close these applications. After the installation has completed, setup will attempt to restart the applications"
The file in use is "McAfee Framework Host", any suggestions?
Thank You

Thanks, yes tried rebooting a few times, When running the old version it kept trying to update but that failed and got stuck in a loop. Eventually, I uninstalled GIT, rebooted, and ran a fresh install of the new GIT download.
This managed to get the new fresh install done - So that worked.
I Use X-Plane 12, so on initial opening, it advised I'm running a different X-plane version and it shut down and open again seems to be working OK.
Regards
Andre
