GIT FS2020 - RP48R programming for C172 NAV1 OBS

I am trying to program one of the rotaries of the RP48R for using as OBS-knob of the upper NAV1 instrument of the FS2020 default Cessna 172 Skyhawk. But which rotary event I have to load for this? As a non-native speaker I haven't found the correct one out of the hundreds of those. Please help.

Use Detective and enable event monitoring. Then use the OBS knob in the virtual cockpit and the event to use should appear in the Detective monitoring window.

I am sorry Steve, I don't know which button I have to press to "enable event monitoring"?

If I press "Events" and turn the OBS knob or for instance the "ALT SEL" knob, no event is shown in any of the detective's windows. What am I doing wrong?

Steve is directing you to the detective which is a button on the status page. I suggest you read the section on the detective in the GIT instructions to get an idea how it works. The instructions are for an older version but they'll get you started. There is a learning curve.

I used the following: Clockwise "VOR1_OBI_INC"; for Anticlockwise "VOR1_OBI_DEC"
