Need help installing VFSHB
I am trying to install VFSHB (version 1.1.0) on a single PC, with FSX Steam Edition. I previously had this almost working on another PC, IO server OK, showing 3 green lights, Builder was just fired up but whilst I was exploring the menus Windows advised me that I was out of memory (16gb on an I7 PC !) and restart was needed. I moved to an I9 PC with 64gb and started again. But as soon as the IO server loads it freezes showing only one green light (the left light) and after a few seconds it disappears offscreen apparently no longer in memory. (FSX was not running).Do you have any ideas what is wrong? (All my PCs have static IPs in the range 92.168.1.10 - 192.68.1.49). BTW the instructions for networked PCs say to select various options when installing but the install program does not offer any selections such as "Flight Sim IO Module / Lua". Maybe this is just for MSFS not FSX? I have tried removing all files/folders and uninstalling then reinstalling, but same result. I am very motivated to get this working because the product looks so great.

I suspect Simconnect cannot be found on your second PC. Is FSX Steam installed on it? You could try copying Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.dll from your FSX SE directory\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\lib\managed into the FlightSimIOServer program directory.
Did FlightSImIOServer always do this or did it start doing this after changing settings in it? If its due to settings, delete any directories containing "Flight_Sim_IO" in C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\SM_IT_Services and then reconfigure settings.
Come back to me if issues remain.
Best wishes
