RP48 Mixup

I have two RP48's. Whenever my computer has required any repair and is restarted, the RP48's are mixed up; i.e., Device 0 gets labeled as Device 1 and visa versa. Then for each plane I have to reset the controls or try to recover from my backups. Takes a lot of time. Anyone have a solution to keeping this from happening:

  • It’s important to keep the devices plugged into the same USB ports. Best achieved by using a powered USB hub with a single connection to the motherboard.

The alternative is to edit the xml files and swap 0 to 1 and vice versa.

  • I have an underutilized powered usb hub so I plugged my GF modules into it and reconfigured. I'll know it works the next time I have a computer problem. Thanks.
