RP49 Button Set Heading

I'm trying to set an RP48 Button to emulate pressing the heading knob. The detective shows Heading_Bug_Set as the event that fires when the knob is pressed. However when I set that as the event to use on the button press, nothing happens. This is on the C172 G1000. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    What does pressing the heading knob do in the cockpit do, such as turning on the autopilot heading?

    Pressing the heading knob in the cockpit camera view sets the heading to the aircrafts current heading. Useful to alight the autopilot heading setting to the runway heading for takeoff.
