Problems with GFIT and MCP PRO - no display on H/W
Hi - I have just setup GFIT & MCP PRO for FSX but can't get any lights working with PMDG NGX. The MCP PRO h/w is completely dark.
I'm hoping this is something simple and appreciate any advice.
I used to use your PMDG interface which worked fine.
The MCP PRO works fine with other aircraft - just not the NGX.
If I operate a control on the MCP PRO it is updating the sim correctly. If I change a control in the sim nothing is shown on the MCP PRO.
The GFIT Status screen is showing 3 green. The Goflight light flashes when I turn a knob on the MCP PRO.
The simconnect light is constantly flashing.
Aircraft says 'Mode: NGX PMDG 737-800NGX'.
If I click restart, all 0's are shown for a few seconds then the MCP PRO goes dark again.
GFIT log looks ok:
17:49:30 SimConnect: Event Received: Aircraft Loaded/Flight Loaded
17:49:30 SimConnect: Event Received: SIM, 1
17:49:30 SimConnect: Event Received: PAUSE, 0
17:49:31 Aircraft Connection Started

I have installed:
- GFConfig_2_25_2 and verified it is in compat mode.
- GFIT 2-1-13-0 installed into same directory as GFConfig
- dll.xml updated per doc:
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>GoFlight Module Interface</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Q:\fsx-addons\go-flight\GoFlight Interface Module.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>

I've checked the FAQ and the one which looks closest is '(just showing zeroes)'.
Although my issue is that the display is completely dark.
I've checked all the suggestions but to no avail.
- I reinstalled NGX (sp1d installer)
- loading the trike in 2d panel then switching to ngx then to vc
- sdk is enabled
Any other ideas or things I can check?

I've been doing a bunch more testing and ended up deleting the GFIT directory in Documents.
I uninstalled/reinstalled and it recreated the directory (and files).
Now it is working - the MCP PRO is no longer dark - it does mirror the sim MCP.
One question though - in the GFIT status window, the SimConnect/FSX light is Yellow.
What does this mean and is it a problem I need to worry about?

It's gone green now and I saw some other posts about it.
